workshop terms & conditions:
“The organisation” refers to the party booking the workshop. “Grá Fiánta Herbal” refers to Leasha Hogan the workshop facilitator.
Booking and Payment:
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking unless otherwise agreed.
Final payment should be made within 14 days of receiving the final invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation and Refunds:
The organisation may cancel their booking up to 14 days before the workshop for a refund if applicable, this does not include deposits. Cancellations must be requested in writing by contacting Leasha at grafiantaherbal@gmail.com
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund.
The organisation may reschedule their workshop with 10 days’ notice. The workshop should be rescheduled at the first available opportunity for both parties. Exceptions to this are if the workshop is due to take place outdoors and weather does not permit the workshop to go ahead or prevents travel to the workshop. A decision to postpone the workshop due to weather should be taken 24 hours before the workshop is expected to take place.
In the rare event that Grá Fiánta Herbal needs to cancel the workshop due to sickness, a rescheduled date will be offered. If a suitable date cannot be found then a full refund including deposit will be issued.
Liability
Grá Fiánta Herbal holds appropriate public liability insurance, a copy of the insurance certificate can be provided upon request.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grá Fiánta Herbal shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the workshop, except where caused by proven negligence.
Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the workshops.
The organisation is responsible for ensuring that the space is safe, accessible, and suitable for the workshop. They should provide tables, ventilation, and access to handwashing facilities unless agreed in advance.
Health, Safety, and Allergies
Participants may be exposed to plants, herbs, oils, or natural ingredients during the workshop.
The Organisation is responsible for informing participants that they should disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health conditions prior to participation, with a minimum of five days' notice.
Grá Fiánta Herbal cannot accept responsibility for adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.
Participants take part at their own risk and are encouraged to seek professional medical advice before using any remedies created.
Privacy & Data Protection
Grá Fiánta Herbal will collect and process personal data for the sole purpose of administering the workshops; it will never be shared with third parties without consent.
Grá Fiánta Herbal may take photos during workshops to share on social media. If participants/organisations do not wish to be included in photographs they have the option to ‘opt out’.
Grá Fiánta Herbal may use quotations from feedback/evaluation forms anonymously for promoting workshops to other groups/organisations.
Intellectual Property
All workshop handouts are the intellectual property of Grá Fiánta Herbal and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
The organisation may use workshop handouts for their own reference and distribute to their members, but must retain credit and/or copyright notices.
Accessibility
Grá Fiánta Herbal is committed to ensuring that workshops are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities.
The organisation is encouraged to contact Grá Fiánta Herbal in advance to discuss any specific accommodations that may be required, giving a minimum of three days notice.
Grá Fiánta Herbal will make reasonable efforts to provide necessary accommodations to ensure full participation in the workshops.

Any remedies created during the workshop are for educational and personal use only.
The workshops do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Grá Fiánta Herbal makes no claims regarding the efficacy of remedies and accepts no liability for how they are used after the workshop.
